Your Life Purpose

You hear a lot about finding your life purpose as you travel a spiritual journey, and it can feel like a pressure to figure out what yours is. But all my explorations through the Akashic Records have shown me that it’s not something we find - it’s something we align with.
Purpose is something we are born with, and aligning with it is one of the primary goals of incarnation. And to make it worse, there’s this unspoken expectation that by a certain point in life, we should know – and if we don’t, the pressure to figure it out, get it right, and land on the one thing we’re meant to be doing can make us feel like we aren’t “doing life right”.
But purpose doesn’t really work like that. It’s “designed” to move, grow and meet you where you are, at any given point in your life. It’s meant to shift and change at various stages of your souls development. Sometimes it shows up in really obvious ways, and sometimes it’s a lot more subtle by telling you “this feels right for me right now.”
And to be sure – those subtle moments count so much more than we give them credit for because they are what guide us, even when we don’t realize it at the time. Over time, they shape the direction you’re going. Listen to your body – what feels right is your alignment, no matter the outcome. Not all paths are those of least resistance.
Sometimes those that give us the more challenging circumstances to move through are the most powerful. Purpose is a curriculum with several different levels, each one more challenging until you reach the pinnacle of accomplishment. That’s when your Higher-Self says, “Ok love, no more challenges of this nature – you got this. It’s time to enjoy the results of all your work”.
Another thing to keep in mind is that when you feel disconnected from your purpose, it doesn’t always feel big & heavy. A lot of the time, life looks fine on the outside, but something feels off within you - like you’re settling. It can feel like a growing gap between who you are and who you know you’re meant to be. You may look at other people thinking they’ve figured something out that you haven’t.
As a Medium, I have heard from those in Spirit who reached the end of their lives still searching, and they realized they never aligned with it simply because of where they were looking for it. It’s so easy to tie purpose to a job, a role, or some kind of external marker. But babes, purpose doesn’t come from outside of you like that - it comes from how aligned you are with yourself and how deeply you listen to your soul. Anytime anyone says to me “I don’t know my purpose,” I know it’s less about not having one - and more about not fully trusting their own intuitive signals.
The deeper purpose of our intuition has nothing to do with reading for others. Our intuition is our natural, self-installed GPS for this journey on Earth called human incarnation. It’s our already installed internal communication system – a natural function of our energetic body (our true nature) to keep us connected to our Higher-Self, our spiritual allies and most importantly – our body’s Innate Cellular Intelligence. Our body knows way before our mind knows.
But even that can get confusing, because a lot of us have tried to “follow our heart” and ended up somewhere that didn’t feel right later on. That can really shake our trust in ourselves to the core. We start questioning how we could have felt so sure about something that eventually changed.
But that doesn’t mean you were wrong. It points to something deeper going on around identity. Who you thought you were, what you believed about yourself, what you were ready for at that time.
That’s where purpose actually starts to take shape! And from that perspective, purpose isn’t something you go out and find- it’s something that develops as you do.
There’s a sequence to it – an expanding.
And when you let that sequence take place, you don’t wonder why purpose isn’t clicking, instead you see what doesn’t work as an important piece of the path you’re still walking.
Trust your journey - and all the twists, turns and re-directions it holds for you.
Purpose isn’t a final destination you arrive at, it’s something that builds over time as you move into your most authentic expression of self. And when you allow yourself to shift and readjust as you grow, your souls GPS will never lose sight of your most aligned destination.
