Jo Figueras

I’m Jo Figueras, writer, intuitive, teacher, and the creator of Astro-Girlie and Soul Architecture.
My work is centered around a question I think most of us eventually find ourselves asking: Now that I understand myself better, what am I going to do with what I know?
I’ve worked in intuitive and spiritual development since 2014, helping people understand themselves better through numerology, astrology, Human Design, mediumship & channeling, somatic work, and the Akashic Records.
Over the years, those different systems began to come together into what I call Soul Architecture, a way of looking at the many pieces that make you you, including your natural patterns, gifts, needs, desires, intuition, purpose, and the way you’re designed to move through your life.
Because I’m a writer and teacher at heart, much of my work is about taking concepts that can feel complicated, mystical, or overwhelming and making them feel easy to understand, fun to take part in and practical to use. That's the Capricorn Sun in me, doing what a Capricorn does best.
Astro-Girlie grew out of that philosophy. Through my community on Skool, I teach astrology in plain language, beginning with how to read your own birth chart and eventually using astrology as another tool for understanding yourself, your relationships, your patterns, and what different seasons of your life may be asking of you.
On Substack, I write about the bigger picture. Astrology is often the doorway to all the conversations that include intuition, spiritual development, channeling, manifestation, relationships, purpose, soul contracts, nervous-system work, and the many ways we learn to recognize and trust our own inner guidance.
More recently, this work has led me to write The Desire Review, an exploration of one deceptively simple question - what do I actually want? The Desire Review is a process for understanding yourself well enough to know what you really want. Personal development is filled with methodologies for figuring out what needs to be fixed, healed or changed, but I’m much more interested exploring questions like:
-
Why am I like this?
-
How am I designed?
-
What comes naturally to me?
-
What throws me out of balance?
-
What do I need in order to feel fulfilled?
-
And what does any of that tell me about what I truly desire?
The Desire Review gives us a way to explore all of that without making ourselves another problem to solve. We learn how we work, what we need when we're out of balance, what our experiences have been showing us and what our desires are asking us to consider next. From there, we can begin creating experiences that actually feel good to live.
