June 9th is getting a lot of attention because Venus and Jupiter meet in a conjunction at 25° Cancer, and astrologically that's one of the most benefic combinations possible.
To understand why, let’s look at what each planet represents.
Venus rules love, relationships, pleasure, beauty, values, self-worth, money, attraction, creativity, and receiving.
Jupiter rules expansion, growth, opportunity, abundance, faith, blessings, wisdom, and good fortune.
When Venus and Jupiter join together, their energies amplify each other.
Venus attracts. Jupiter expands.
Together they create a symbolism of increased ease, support, generosity, opportunities, and growth in whatever area of life they touch.
What makes this particular conjunction even more attention grabbing is that it occurs in Cancer which is ruled by the Moon and governs:
Home/Family
Emotional security/Nurturing
Belonging/Ancestral roots
Inner fulfillment/Feeling safe enough to receive
If the Universe had a primary goal for this transit, that last part is key: Feeling safe enough to receive.
And that is literally what we have been preparing for since July of 2023 which kicked-off the Aries/Libra Nodal Cycle, and then moved us into the current Pisces/Virgo cycle 18 months later. Through all that, we learned to shift our inner world from independent identity and relationships, to surrendering to our true spiritual nature by mastering who we are with others. This provided the energetic support to master HOW we show up in “service” to the world through our most authentic expression. I’m telling you – astrology is the big ol’ fukin cosmic algorithm that moves us through our personal (and collective ) evolutionary “timeline”.
Anyway, Jupiter is actually exalted in Cancer (meaning Cancer is considered one of Jupiter's strongest placements), and Jupiter's qualities tend to operate exceptionally well here because Cancer encourages emotional growth, compassion, protection, and genuine nourishment.
So this transit is associated with:
Emotional healingFamily /Feeling supported/ Receiving help
Financial opportunities connected to home or caregivingIncreased intuition & Relationship growth
A deeper sense of trust and abundance
