About the event
Join me for a hands-on workshop where you’ll create a chicken wire and bead suncatcher designed to catch and reflect light in your home or garden.
You’ll learn how to work with headpins and beads to build dimension, movement, and sparkle, using chicken wire as your base structure. This class blends simple wire techniques with creative design, giving you the freedom to play with color, shape, and pattern while making something that feels both artistic and functional. By the end of class, you’ll leave with a finished suncatcher that reflects the light beautifully and adds a vibrant, handcrafted element to your space.
We’ll cover:
• How to work with headpins to secure and shape beaded elements
• Techniques for attaching beads to a chicken wire base
• Building balance, flow, and visual interest in your design
