About the event
Join me for an introduction to metalsmithing as you learn to create a sterling silver bezel set pendant from start to finish in a hands-on environment designed for beginners and curious creatives.
You’ll work through the essential steps of forming bezel wire, soldering, setting a stone, and polishing your piece to a beautiful finish. This class gives you a true foundation in traditional jewelry fabrication while guiding you through each stage with support. By the end of class, you’ll leave with a finished sterling silver pendant featuring a semi-precious gemstone you’ve personally selected.
We’ll cover:
• How to measure, shape, and form bezel wire to fit your stone
• An introduction to soldering and proper torch techniques
• Preparing your setting for secure stone placement
